Add a list of people: Bulk upload

The first step to getting started with the Ganaz tools is to upload the employees to the Web app. This can be done through a bulk upload in an Excel file. You will be able to message, send surveys, and rehire them digitally.

Important: Before you make a bulk upload, set up your Excel file and confirm you have all the required fields: Employee ID, First Name, Last Name, SSN, and Status. The optional fields are Middle Name, Date of Birth, Language, Cell Phone Number, Phone Number Country Code, and Groups. Please match the columns and headers in your file as the template shows, to prevent import errors.

To bulk import:

  1. Prepare your Excel file. Use this template.

  2. From the Ganaz portal, click the People tab on the left side menu. 

  3. Click on the Bulk Upload button on the top of the screen.

  4. Select 

    • Add Groups when you have new employees

    • Replace Groups when you want to update groups for current employees.

  5. Click to add the Excel file from your computer or drag and drop it. 

  6. You will receive an email confirming the successful import of your list.
